The inaugural Kieran ‘Feisty’ Delaney tournament was hosted by Toomevara GAA in memory of their club stalwart who died tragically 2 years ago.

The tournament brought the crowds over the Bank Holiday weekend with a feast of gaelic games on offer. Clonoulty Rossmore  played the home team in the semi final and won a tight game in roasting conditions by just 3 points.

The West-Tipperary GAA club side then faced neighbours Upperchurch Drombane in the final of the tournament and won by the narrowest of margins.

Danny Slattery was named player of the tournament. Each player was awarded a commemorative plaque and food was provided for team and management also afterwards.

Overall the competition was a huge success with a good turnout overall.
