Community organisations join up to stage a Dawn Walk in a town in Tipperary

An early Dawn Walk in Cahir last weekend was sponsored by Oakpark and Murphy Candles and presented by Cahir Youth Tidy Towns and Cahir Meet & Train.

Thanks also must go to the staff of Oakpark and O’Donnell’s Woodview service station for the catering afterwards at an unearthly hour.

Thanks also to those that turned up to remember a loved one or just as a special intention.

Some local funds raised on the day will once again go towards Youth facilities.

The Dawn Walk will definitely be continued on the same weekend next year and while there are always a lot of tired eyes that day, it was worth while getting out on the morning to walk in good company and hear the birds awakening with the dawn chorus.

Well done to everyone who played their part or participated in the uplifting early morning experience.
