Concerns raised about speeding around a school in Tipperary village

The issue was raised at a recent sitting of Thurles-Templemore Municipal District Council

Councillor Eddie Moran has called for traffic calming measures in Drom Village similar to those in Ballycahill.

At last week’s sitting of Thurles-Templemore Municipal District Council, he said speed is a significant issue, especially around the school.

District Engineer Thomas Duffy said they would look at funding options.
