Council proposes week long road closure in rural Tipperary community next month
Deadline is looming for submission of objections to the temporary closure of the L-1303-2 at Thurlesbeg, Cashel
Tipperary County Council has given notice that it is proposing to close the L-1303-2 at Thurlesbeg, Cashel from midnight on Tuesday, June 2 until midnight on Tuesday, June 9 to facilitate the construction of a cattle underpass.
It's proposed to divert traffic via the R660 during the temporary road closure.
Objections to the proposed closure may be submitted in writing to Road Closures, Roads & Transportation, Tipperary County Council, Civic Offices, Limerick Road, Nenagh, County Tipperary not later than 12 noon on Friday 08 May 2026 or by e-mail to [email protected]
