Event for Tipperary employers to get advice and support
The event will provide information to Tipperary employers on the supports available to them
Tipperary employers can benefit from a new roadshow to inform and educate them on what services and supports are available to them.
The Employer Roadshow, hosted in conjunction with Department of Social Protection, together with Tipperary Chamber and Tipperary Education and Training Board, will provide information to employers across Tipperary on the supports and services that are available to them.
The event will provide employers with information on business supports and financial incentives to assist with continued growth and business success.
Trish Markey of County Tipperary Chamber said: "this event presents an invaluable opportunity for local businesses to explore a wide range of upskilling options available in today’s dynamic workplace environment.
"There are so many options for upskilling that many employers might not be fully aware of. The Employer Roadshow will provide the perfect platform to discover these options, hear from experts in the field, and ultimately help businesses unlock the potential for growth through employee development," Ms Markey said.
Minister for Social Protection Darragh Calleary said that the event will give employers access to vital information.
"This event offers employers an invaluable opportunity to access information on supports across the spectrum of the candidate and employee pathways, from the identification of potential new employees through to upskilling and retraining options available.
"Whether it is engaging with our JobsIreland team to find candidates or with our partners in relation to training, this event provides a forum for employers to directly engage with our teams to learn about services and financial supports available," the Minister added.
The Tipperary event will take place in the Talbot Hotel in Clonmel on April 8 from 12 noon to 2pm.
