The event featured both professional and novice competitions across various weight categories.

The event saw five English brothers from Knockgraffon, participate in the professional competitions. Cormac, the eldest of the brothers, took part in the 105 kg category for both left and right arm, securing fifth place in both.

Finbarr, another brother, competed in the 86kg category, where he came in fifth for both left and right arm.

The second eldest brother, Cillian, took part in the 75kg category and emerged as the new Irish open champion.

He won the right arm competition and came second in the left arm competition.

This is a significant achievement for the brothers, who took up arm wrestling during the COVID-19 lockdown.
