Standing ovations for talented singers and musicians

There was a full house present at Hotel Minella to appreciate the talented musical performers on stage for the South  Tipperary Hospice annual concert.

Standing ovations were the order of the night as the audience displayed their appreciation.

Tenor Joe Roche and his wife Polly were joined on the bill by singers Emmet Donlan and Andrea Ruth Houlihan.

The Clonmel Concert Band with the legendary Danny Carroll as conductor provided an amazing sound and beautiful music to enjoy.

MC Niall Carroll said the town was fortunate to have so much talent to call on for such an important event as a concert held to support the incredible work that South Tipperary Hospice was doing.

Sean O'Donovan, Chairman of South Tipperary Hospice thanked all the performers and said it was a privilege to listen to them all on the night.

He thanked the audience for attending, advertisers in the programme and everybody who had provided prizes for the raffle.

Sean O’Donovan paid tribute to all involved in organising the event and said the success of the night was down to their hard work.

SUPPORT APPRECIATED

He said the support that continues to be shown all year around for South Tipperary Hospice gave great encouragement to all involved in ensuring the vital services being provided by South Tipperary Hospice were maintained.
