"I very much welcome that €492,595 is to be provided for Nenagh Childcare Centre to provide for extension to facilitate more Children.
"This is great news for a fantastic facility who provide for well in excess of 100 children with approximately 25 employees.
"Last year this facility had some financial difficulties and following an approach by the Chairperson of the Board I arranged meetings with the Department of Children in Leinster House and the financial issues were overcome through a number of changes and interventions.
"The facility already had planning for their extension that the Department had indicated would be looked favourable on once planning was in place.
"Well done to the staff and management of Nenagh Childcare and may it go from strength to strength."
