Daffodil Day will be held on March 28

The organisers of the Daffodil Day event in Clonmel held a launch recently at the Place4You centre in Clonmel.

Daffodil Day will take place in Clonmel on March 28.

The event was launched by the Mayor of Clonmel Cllr Pat English and attended by a large crowd.

Francis Delahunty, one of the organising committee, said they were looking forward to the event this year.

"The people of Clonmel have always been very generous in their support for Daffodil Day. They have a great awareness of the wonderful work being done by the Irish Cancer Society in alleviating pressure on families coping with cancer," said Francis Delahunty
