The Bishop's Buttery in Cashel was also awarded the star in 2024

The Bishop's Buttery has been awarded a Michelin Star for 2025.

The widely-acclaimed restaurant located in the Cashel Palace in Tipperary, describes itself as having historic charm and culinary elegance.

The restaurant was already awarded the highest honour in fine dining with a Michelin star in 2024, just two years after opening their doors, so the owners and staff were over the moon to retain their coveted award.

In a post on social media they said: "Delighted to join the @michelinguide class of 2025!

"Last night in Glasgow, we were incredibly honoured to retain our One Michelin Star!

"It's been the result of a huge effort from the entire team to maintain the quality of our food, service and restaurant, while continuing to innovate and put our own stamp on the Irish culinary landscape.

"Looking forward to welcoming you all throughout 2025."
