'It's fast becoming one of the most highly-anticipated events on the festive calendar'

In what is fast becoming one of the most highly-anticipated events on the festive calendar in Tipperary, Dundrum Macra are set to hold their annual Tractor Run on December 27 in Annacarty village, all in aid of two great local causes: The South Tipperary Hospice Movement and the Moorehaven Centre in Tipperary Town.

This event was hugely successful last year with sizable monies raised for local deserving causes. Registration for the 2022 edition will take place at the Community Centre in Annacarty and Tractors will park at the Eire Òg Annacarty GAA Carpark.

The Tractor Run itself will start in Annacarty village and it will take in Doneskeigh, Donohil and Cappawhite before returning to finish in Annacarty.

A wonderful added incentive for all those participating this year is that you will receive a wristband which will entitle you entry to see the renowned band The Fogues play in Jerry Jack’s Pub later that evening, which is an evening definitely not to be missed.

For those unable to participate in the Tractor Run tickets for The Fogues can be purchased on Eventbrite on the accompanying link: www.eventbrite.ie/e/the-fogues-live-at-jerry-jacks-tickets-470659393917

All proceeds from the Tractor Run and from the Fogues concert are set to combined and donated to the nominated local good causes.

Last year’s event saw a huge crowd of 147 tractors participate and it is hoped to build on that for this year. A lot of work has gone into organising this event once again this year and huge credit is due to the Dundrum Macra Committee for their efforts to support local charitable organisations in our area.
