Kerry Condon's next role will be in the thriller In The Land Of Saints And Sinners, alongside Liam Neeson and Ciarán Hinds

Thurles-born Kerry Condon has been nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at this year's Oscars.

Ms Condon is nominated for her role in The Banshees Of Inisherin.

Also in the same category is Angela Bassett (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever), Jamie Lee Curtis (Everything Everywhere All at Once), Stephanie HSU (Everything Everywhere All at Once) and Hong Chau (The Whale).

The Banshees of Inisherin is nominated for an incredible nine awards. 

The 95th Academy Awards will take place on March 12.
