Irish Rail has submitted the application to Tipperary County Council

Tipperary County Council has received a planning application to demolish a dwelling house near a level crossing in Clonmel and a decision is due this week.

Irish Rail submitted the application which includes the demolition of associated outbuildings and clearance of the site located at the level crossing on 22 Haywood Road.

An application was lodged on January 29, however Tipperary County Council marked it as invalid due to the incorrect wording of Irish Rail's newspaper planning notice and issues with the site map submitted.

Another application on March 3 did proceed through the planning processes and a decision is due on April 27.
