Loughmore receive huge boost ahead of Munster campaigns with return of former county star

Loughmore Castleiney will be competing in the Munster Club Championships in November
Loughmore Castleiney will have a welcome boost ahead of their Munster Club Championship challenge in both codes over November, with the return of John Meagher after missing out on the county championships this year.
A former Tipperary hurling and football panelist, Meagher has been living in Australia in recent years and has not featured for the double winning club since 2022.
However, Meagher (29) is back on Irish soil ahead of the assault on the Munster Championships over the next month or so and he is back in training with a view to playing a part in the games.
The Tipperary champions will first play a Munster Hurling semi-final against the quarter-final winners of Doon and Ballygunner in on Sunday, November 17th.
They will then be out again the following Sunday, November 24th - again in the semi-final - where they will face the winners of Éire Óg Ennis or the Limerick champions (Adare or Fr. Casey's) in the Munster Football Championship.
