MATCH OFF: Tipperary schools hurling final is called off due to the inclement weather conditions
Todays Tipperary Under 17 B hurling final is called off!
The inclement weather conditions across the north of the county have forced the postponement of today's county post primary schools Under 17 B hurling final until early next week.
The hurlers from St. Joseph's College, Borrisoleigh were set to take on The High School, Clonmel at Boherlahan this afternoon but the blanket of snow this morning in the mid Tipp village has forced the rescheduling of the fixture.
The temperature is set to improve across the afternoon in Tipperary, but the soft underfoot conditions mean rescheduling was the best option.
With the weather returning to milder conditions over the weekend the All-Ireland Senior Schools B Football Championship final between Abbey CBS of Tipperary Town and St. Joseph's Donaghmore is set to go ahead as scheduled.
