Independent Councillor Jim Ryan took to social media to share the good news
In a post on social media on Monday, July 14, Independent Councillor Jim Ryan had some good news for local residents in Thurles.
Cllr Ryan posted that he was "delighted to confirm that the contractors will be on site shortly to carry out the necessary repairs to the damaged surface on the children's playground in Thurles Town Park".
The news comes just five weeks after the County Council received €50,000 in funding from the Government's Community Recognition funding scheme to help to repair the local skatepark.
