New play equipment for kids with disabilities planned for Carrick-on-Suir playground

The equipment will be installed in the Fairgreen Playground as part of Tipperary County Council's renovations of the amenity
A new piece of play equipment for children with disabilities will be among the improvements carried out to Carrick-on-Suir’s Fairgreen Playground under renovations Tipperary County Council is planning.
The Council has secured a €16,443 Capital Play & Recreation grant for the refurbishment of the town centre playground.
The local authority is also investing a minimum of 25% in matching funds in the project.
Carrick-on-Suir Municipal District Administrator Marie Cox informed district councillors at their May meeting that the Council will be carrying out consultation in relation to choosing a new inclusive piece of play equipment suitable for children with disabilities for the playground.
It will replace an existing piece of play equipment in the playground.
