Kids in one Tipperary housing estate now have some new playing equipment after upgrades were made.
The basketball hoops in the Glenview Square estate in Tipperary Town have been repaired and replaced by Tipperary County Council, giving kids and teens in the area some new playing equipment.
The equipment was fixed after local Sinn Féin councillor Annemarie Ryan-Shiner raised the issue with the council.
The broken swing at the playground on the River Ara Walkway was also raised with the council by Cllr Ryan-Shiner, who said that they have now taken the swing away to be repaired.
