Councillor Anne Marie Ryan is calling on Tipperary town residents facing water outages or low pressure to make their voices heard by emailing their complaints directly to Uisce Éireann.

Across Tipperary town, many households are struggling with no water, weak pressure, or sudden outages. Residents report cold showers and broken heating systems, blaming trapped air in the pipes. Councillor Ryan insists it is unfair for locals to shoulder the cost of plumbing repairs when the fault lies elsewhere.

Tipperary town is under a Boil Water Notice because dirty water contaminated the Cordangan Water Treatment Plant, which supplies water to over 5,000 people.

The Sinn Féin Councillor encourages residents and business owners to report ongoing issues daily by emailing [email protected] and to copy her at annemarie.ryanshiner@clCouncillor Ryan plans to bring Tipperary town's water problems to the Commission for the Regulation of Utilities (CRU).
