Public encouraged to have their say on Roscrea's regeneration plans.

A public consultation event on proposed concept designs for Castle Street and Church Street in Roscrea attracted strong attendance and a high level of engagement at the Black Mills on Tuesday night.

The event provided an opportunity for members of the public to view draft proposals, ask questions and share feedback on the future development of the area.

The Black Mills proved to be an excellent venue, facilitating constructive discussion and meaningful interaction throughout the evening.

A significant volume of positive and thoughtful feedback was received, along with a number of valuable suggestions and ideas.

This input will play an important role in shaping and refining the proposals as the project moves to the next stage of development.

To ensure that those who were unable to attend in person still have an opportunity to participate, the consultation process remains open online. The consultation boards can be viewed digitally, and an online survey is available to gather further public feedback.

The online survey will remain open until Thursday, 29 January 2026, and members of the public are encouraged to review the material and share their views.
