Presentation Secondary School Clonmel

There was an air of pride and celebration in Presentation Secondary School Clonmel as students received their Leaving Certificate results for 2025.

Staff, parents, and the wider school community are delighted with an exceptional set of outcomes that reflect the hard work, resilience, and determination of the Class of 2025.

In what has been described as “massively impressive results,” 14% of students achieved over 500 points – a testament to the academic excellence fostered within the school. Among the standout achievements was that of Jenna Hayes, who reached the maximum score of 625 points, a remarkable accomplishment that has brought great joy and inspiration to the entire school community.

The success of this year’s group is made even more significant by the challenges they have faced. These students were only in First Year when the Covid-19 pandemic struck, disrupting their formative secondary school experience. Despite this, they have shown themselves to be hardworking, talented, resilient, and brilliant young people, ready to take on bright futures in further education, training, and the wider world.

Teachers at Presentation have expressed their admiration for the high number of H1 grades achieved across a wide range of subjects, crediting the students’ determination as well as the strong teaching and learning environment within the school.

Principal Jennifer Williams and Deputy Principal Róisín Hennessy paid tribute to both the students and the dedicated staff who guided them through their studies. “We are extremely proud of all our students,” they said, “and also deeply appreciative of the teachers who worked tirelessly to support them. These results highlight the culture of excellence we strive for at Presentation.”

The Senior Management team also extended a heartfelt thank you to parents for entrusting the school with their daughters’ education, noting that such strong home–school partnerships are key to student success.
