Rest in Peace! Two deaths in Tipperary village leaves community in mourning

KILSHEELAN NOTES:

Deepest sympathies to the Casey family on the passing of Dan, a native of Kanturk but long since domiciled in his adopted parish where he established himself as a colossus in the building industry and created employment and opportunities for many people in his long career.

Always a man to put his shoulder to the wheel  wherever the need arose,  be it parish, neighbour or work.

To Eileen, Mona, Marcus, Eamon and Garvan we extend our deep sorrow.

Condolences also to the Commins family on Pat's passing, he was indeed a true gentleman in every respect, kind, generous and unassuming.

A sportsman of many realms, a stylish hurling wing back for many years with his club Kilsheelan-Kilcash and also an accomplished golfer and highly regarded in his rugby playing years with Thurles Rugby Club.

To Breda, Julie and the extended Commins family we extend our deepest sympathies.

May they rest in peace.
