Planning has been lodged to turn a vacant building into a one-bed private house in Tipperary.

Patsy Cahill has made the application to Tipperary County Council for the project at 17 Upper Irishtown, Clonmel.

The plans request a change of use from vacant printing works and office to private one-bedroom residential town house, plus alterations to existing building.

The council has until June 20 to make a decision.
