Sporting first for girls at this Tipperary school

For the first time ever, the girls at Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed enjoyed a Rugby taster session as they aim to compete in challenge matches and upcoming tournaments.

Members of Thurles RFC visited our school in splendid sunshine that saw dozens of students participating in a session where they worked on honing their skills.

A huge thanks to Ashling Scanlon for co-ordinating this great afternoon of sport with the oval ball that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

We wish all our Girl Rugby teams the very best going forward.
