2. Conor O'Dwyer (Cashel King Cormacs) O'Dwyer continues to show improvement, having had a good year for the Tipp U20's. He was rock solid in the corner against Clonakenny, and his comfort on the ball and bringing it out of defence is a real feature of his game.

3. Michael Breen (Portroe) Breen has been in terrific form for Portroe this year, and continued that form in his side's win over Carrick Swans. He has become a real leader in this Port team and always produces good performances in the green and gold jersey. Kept good tabs on Danny O'Hanlon throughout, holding him scoreless from play.

4. Keith McMahon (Roscrea) Probably not his most troubling day, such was the margin of victory for Roscrea over Kiladangan, but McMahon hit a mountain of ball in the game and was very composed throughout. Well worth his place.

5. Jack Collins (Ballina) The former Tipp minor was operating at wing back for Ballina against Thurles Sarsfields last weekend, and had a terrific game, constantly involved and made a good contribution of 0-3 from deep. Did very well.
