6. Paddy Cadell (JK Brackens) Usually leaves his best performances for the black and white of JK Brackens, Cadell was immense at centre-back and controlled the game. His runs from deep were untrackable for Templederry.

7. Bryan O'Mara (Holycross Ballycahill) This is the version of Bryan O’Mara that we haven’t seen in the past year. He was all over the ball - in the first half particularly - and hit three magnificent points from range. Encouraging to see.

8. Éanna McBride (JK Brackens) McBride had a productive day for Brackens, along with several of his teammates, with himself and Dean McEnroe running the show around the middle. Had the finishing touch to his game with a cool 1-4 from play.

9. Conor Stakelum (Thurles Sarsfields) A man who went to town in Leahy Park last Sunday evening. He couldn’t be contained and hit six first-half points all from play. Savage efficiency.
