6. Bryan O'Mara (Holycross Ballycahill) A largely uninspired performance from Holycross Ballycahill overall, but O'Mara stood tall at six for his club throughout the loss to Lorrha. Came out with a lot of possession and tried his best to stifle the Lorrha attack.

7. Barry Heffernan (Nenagh Éire Óg) Left spare for a lot of the game against Loughmore Castleiney, this is the version of Barry Heffernan that we remember pre-injury woes. Easily his best outing for club or county in quite some time.
7.
8. Noel McGrath (Loughmore Castleiney) Similar to Heffernan, McGrath dropped deep yet again to good effect for Loughmore Castleiney, particularly in the second half when the game was on the line. He had a shadow in Sam O'Farrell who had a good outing himself but there was no curbing McGrath's influence.

9. Ciaran Connolly (Loughmore Castleiney) A powerful performance again from Connolly. His pace and power in the middle was on show once again and he chipped in with 0-2 from play to boot.
