Friends of the Playground Cahir hold their annual event

Friends of The Playground Cahir held their annual fundraising Easter Egg Trail on last Saturday April 19 from 11am - 2pm.

Lots of children and their families took to the Trail on the day seeking clues to the Easter eggs and although the weather was damp the spirits of the crowds were not dampened and they enjoyed it immensely.

The self-guided Easter Trail started from Cahir Castle car park where there volunteers took tickets and there were photo opportunities and face painting was available too for participants.

Along the woodland walk children were greeted by lots of colourful characters including Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Fairies and the Easter Bunny and after finding all the clues on the quiz sheet provided, all the children were rewarded with an Easter egg at the finish. A great day was had by all.

Well done to all the Friends of The Playground Cahir Committee, the volunteers and all who helped in any way with the event and well done also to everyone who travelled to Cahir to support Cahir Community Playground through the Easter Trail.

Thanks to Cahir Development Association,  Cahir Tidy Towns Group, Cahir Youth Tidy Towns Group, Tipperary County Council and Creative Ireland. Thanks also to all other business sponsors for the support.

This event is one of the events which keep funds coming in for the running and upkeep of the Cahir Community Playground.
