The 'Mothers and Others' blitz at Loughmore Castleiney was a huge success

Ladies football is a growing sport across Tipperary and the success of 'Mothers and Others' highlights the benefits for all participants.

A sporting and social event, it has many positive benefits both physically and mentally. The growth of the sport is one of the great success stories across Ireland in recent times. Loughmore Castleiney are a club that have embraced the fun that sport can bring to more and more groups.

The mid Tipperary club hosted a blitz last Friday evening in Cuguilla for 'Mothers and Others' teams from across the county. The teams that participated were Loughmore, Boherlahan, Moycarkey, Ardfinnan and Thurles. A great evening of football was had by all and it is hoped a similiar blitz will be held in future.
