Crow Black Chicken will host Chicken Stock next month in Clonmel

Clonmel-based blues-rock band Crow Black Chicken have announced a one-day festival coming to Tipperary.

The festival. “Chicken Stock,” will take place on July 19, in the Railway Bar.

A signature one‑day music bash set in Clonmel, Chicken Stock is firmly rooted in blues‑rock heritage and curated by Crow Black Chicken themselves.

It's a celebration of raw riffs, foot‑stomping rhythms and community spirit.

The line-up includes Inside, Cillian Maher, The Benedictine Duo, Twiggy, Pádraig Dargan, Stewart Connolly, Stone Cold Hobo, Fair Warning, Porcelain Eyes, Static Haze, Moonchild, Ross Dave and Eamon, Charcoal Greys, and Crow Black Chicken (Deep south).

The festival is one date in the band’s jam-packed “Ghost Dance” tour, promoting their new album, which has seen them play the likes of The Rory Gallagher Festival in Ballyshannon, Blues on The Bay Warrenpoint, and Dundalk’s Blues Festival in Toales Bar so far.

“Ghost Dance”, produced by Philip Magee, is the band’s first studio album in 9 years and has been warmly received by fans new and old, and recently received an 8.5 out of 10 from Maximum Volume.
