There will be free parking at three Tipperary County Council car parks in Carrick-on-Suir on Saturdays in December to help boost the town's Christmas shopping trade.

The free Saturday parking will be at William Street, New Street and Strand Lane.

Parking at the Greenside car park beside Carrick-on-Suir Library is always free.
