Tipperary council gives commitment to improve Fethard ballroom car park

A council engineer gave a commitment  to  improve  the surface and parking space markings at Fethard Ballroom car park at Carrick Municipal District’s monthly meeting. 

District Engineer Denis Power said he would speak to staff about getting a patching unit to the car park and see what could be done to paint markings on the car park. 

He was responding to representations  made at the meeting by Cllrs Imelda Goldsboro and Cllr Mark Fitzgerald.  

Cllr Goldsboro had said the car park needed resurfacing and pointed out there were no line markings there, which resulted in  parking being  a “free for all”.
