Tipperary County Council to close Ballinard to Killenaule Road for over two months

Tipperary County Council has announced it is to close the L6302-0 Ballinard to Killenaule road for more than two months to facilitate the laying of new services.

The council has made an order under the Temporary Closing of Roads Act to close the road from 7am on Monday, August 14 to 7pm on Friday, October 27.

Traffic will be diverted along the following routes:

When access to the L-6302 from south is closed, traffic is to either divert along the R-692 to Cloneen or divert left onto L-2305 and at Ballyvadlea junction, turn left on to L-6303 towards Rathkenny junction turning left onto L-6301 travelling to Ballinard junction turning left on to L-6302 OR divert along the R-692 to Crampcastle junction turning right onto L-6301 and access right onto L-6302 at Ballinard junction

When access to the L-6302 from north is closed traffic will divert vice versa along these routes.
