Tipperary footballers learn their route to summer glory today!

The countdown is on as the Tipperary senior footballers prepare to find out who they will play in this year's Tailteann Cup. After their league campaign and subsequently losing to Kerry in the Munster Semi Final, Tipp will be third seeds in the draw and are guaranteed three games in the soccer world cup style format this year. They will play more games if they keep winning.

Tipp football manager David Power said after the Kerry game that "our season begins now" and Tipperary will look to go on a run in the competition that they bowed tamely out of last year to Carlow in the first round.

This year's draw (as well as the Sam Maguire cup draw) takes place at 1pm today - Tuesday, May 2. Who Tipperary get will be posted immediately on Tipperary Live social media platforms, and if you want to follow the draw as it happens, the draw will be broadcast live on www.GAA.ie (GAANOW) as well as on the associations social media channels @OfficialGAA and @GAAGO.
