Tipperary gardaí catch driver who tried to turn away from checkpoint in rural area

Tipperary Roads Policing Unit were carrying out rural checkpoints in the Thurles District on Wednesday night when this vehicle (pictured above) tried to turn away from gardaí.

Gardaí added: "When intercepted the driver provided false details, we quickly established with the Mobility App the driver didn’t hold a driving licence at all, nor insurance, DOE or tax. The vehicle was seized and court to follow."
