2. Cathal O'Reilly Rating: 6/10 Had his hands full with Peter Casey et al but considering his inexperience, he acquitted himself very well against one of the most potent forward lines in Ireland. A good indicator going forward.

3. Bryan O'Mara Rating: 5/10 O'Mara will be glad to see the back of Shane O'Brien after Saturday's game. It was tough for O'Mara to contend with the balls in as O'Brien really showed his class with six from play. A tough day at the office for the Holycross Ballycahill player.

4. Craig Morgan Rating: 6/10 Picked up Aaron Gillane for a lot of the game, before being moved onto O'Brien late in the second half when most of the damage was done. Probably held up the best in the inside line considering.

5. Joe Caesar Rating: 6/10 Had a mixed bag. There were troubles at times early on - like the rest of his teammates - but managed Cathal O'Neill and Gearoid Hegarty at different times. He made a brilliant goal-saving block on Darragh O'Donovan late in the second half.
