6. Bryan O'Mara Rating: 5/10 The Holycross Ballycahill man would have been surprised to see Jack Fagan saunter into his position at the start of the game, and that was a telling story of the first half with O'Mara not following the Meath man who pilfered 0-4 in the first half. His mistake for the Hutchinson goal summed up his day.

5. Eoghan Connolly Ratings: 5/10 Part of a half back line that had a very challenging evening, Connolly never got into the game throughout, despite scoring a long range point in the second half. The pace of the Waterford players made it difficult for the Cashel man.

10. Conor Stakelum Rating: 5/10 Looked like a man who was physically and mentally fatigued after the exertions of the previous week where he ran himself into the ground. The Thurles man was the epitomy of the team in his lack of energy.

7. Seamus Kennedy Rating: 5/10 For a man who so often performs in the blue and gold, Kennedy was completely anonymous throughout the game and had little influence. One of the fittest players on the panel, to see him unable to get up to the pace of the game highlights how far off Tipp were after the Limerick game.
