The Independent Living Movement Ireland (ILMI) VOICE Project is back in Tipperary, ready to elevate the personal development journey of disabled people to the next level.

With a focus on empowerment and inclusivity, this initiative aims to provide valuable resources and support to those looking to embark on an extraordinary path forward.

Stuart, a Tipperary local since 2022, is a past participant of the ILMI VOICE Project,

Stuart said he has a lot of enthusiasm for the program.

"I absolutely loved the ILMI VOICE Program! It's so important for people with disabilities to get online, and VOICE helped me do just that. VOICE allowed me to have a better understanding of what was available to assist me with the daily struggles of being a person with a disability,” said Stuart.

Nicola Meacle, a disabled woman herself and the VOICE Program Officer for Tipperary emphasises the significance of this program:

"For disabled people, it's often easy to feel side-lined by society's limitations. That's why programs like the ILMI VOICE Project are essential. They empower us to break free from the barriers that hold us back and unlock our true potential."

Central to the ILMI VOICE Project is the provision of top-quality Lenovo tablets to all participants.

These devices serve as gateways to the digital world, allowing disabled people to connect, learn, and engage with the world around them like never before.

Through a diverse range of online classes and optional one-on-one life coaching sessions, participants have the opportunity to explore digital skills, internet safety, and personal development from the comfort of their own homes.

"Whether you're seeking to expand your digital expertise or embark on a journey of personal growth, the ILMI VOICE Project is here to take your development to the next level," said Nicola.

She continued:

"And the best part? It won't cost you a thing. This program is all about empowering disabled people to unleash their greatness."

More than just a training program, the ILMI VOICE Project is a ground-breaking initiative crafted by disabled people for disabled people.

Participants have the unique chance to connect with like-minded peers, share experiences, and support each other on their extraordinary journey towards self-discovery and fulfilment.

"Why wait any longer? "Seize this opportunity to unlock your full Join us in Tipperary and experience the limitless possibilities that await," said Nicola.
