Tipperary residents get ready for annual local garden open day

An Open Weekend in aid of Laois Hospice Foundation will take place at Clonohill Gardens on Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30.

Located adjacent to Laois Angling Centre, Coolrain, the Gardens feature woodland, Jacob’s Walk, lawns punctuated by many colour themed herbaceous borders, with the Slieve Bloom mountains providing a colourful background and a walled garden overlooking Clonohill Lake.

Admission is €10 which includes afternoon tea served in the Lodge, and there will also be a raffle with some amazing prizes.

The gardens will be open from 2pm to 6pm on both days.

This annual event is hosted by Floral Artist and Garden Designer Enda Thompson-Phelan, and all money raised over the two days will be donated to Laois Hospice Foundation.
