Tipperary school bid farewell to their much-loved chaplain

Friday, September 29 was a sad day for us in Coláiste as we said farewell to our Chaplain, Lorcan.
Lorcan has been with us in Coláiste since we came in to being following the amalgamation of the three schools in the town in 1999.
He also worked in the Vocational School prior to that meaning he has worked with students in our town for 25 years.
He’ll be sorely missed by management, his colleagues, students, past students, and all of the extended Coláiste family.
Lorcan takes up his new position in Portroe parish in the coming weeks.
We wish him the very best of luck. Sixth year music class presenting Lorcan with a framed copy of the music piece ‘building Coláiste’ they wrote especially for Fr Lorcan for the opening service.
