Tipperary school congratulate second-year student on becoming an all Ireland champion

We congratulate our second year student Luke Thompson, who competed in the All-Ireland Hammer Throw competition during the summer holidays against the best from Leinster, Ulster and Connaught in his respective age group.

Luke had come close to beating his opponents in previous competitions and was narrowly defeated, but despite being the youngest competitor he threw a Personal Best to become this year’s All-Ireland champion! Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed are hugely proud of Luke’s achievement and wish him the best as he presently competes in the World Championships.
