HALLOWE’EN FUNDRAISER
Still on the Hallowe’en theme, we would like to congratulate everyone in Coláiste Mhuire Co-Ed who took part in our annual Dress up Party in aid of Temple Street Hospital and local charities in Thurles.
A number of brilliant prizes were given in each year group, as well as group categories, best-overall and best staff. Prizes included Just Eat vouchers, wireless headphones, smart speakers etc.
A huge thanks to our friends in Thurles Panto Society who sponsored the prizes and also to Ms Shelley Martin who co-ordinated the whole event
CREATIVE WRITING WINNERS
Congratulations to our Halloween Creative Writing competition winners. Lainey Cavanagh (first year), Brian Hayes (second year) and Vera Gonzalez (TY) wrote truly horrifying stories and poems that demonstrate all the skills they are gathering in the English Department.
Also pictured are Ms Carey, Ms Cuneen and Mr Hayes.
Well done to all the students who entered the competition and look out for the next one!
