Queen of the Castle

The Cahir Tidy Towns Group and Cahir Youth Tidy Towns Group will have a busy weekend with the upcoming Queen of the Castle festival.

The youth division of the group will be in the Inch Field with games and storytelling to entertain the kids. Some members are involved in Comhairle and they will host the colour run so come prepared with white t-shirt and get pelted in paints (organic) from 3.30pm.

This will be preceded by the kids races at 2pm and on top of all that there will be live music from 1pm along with canoeing, archery, side shows and a demo from the fire services on the dangers of chip pans while the environment section of the council has advice on how to protect the environment.

So all roads lead to Cahir on Sunday and admission is free.

We continue to meet sporadically during the week and on Wednesdays at 7pm.
