Tipperary/Clare Division Gardaí arrest man as part of investigation into crime group

A man in his 30s was arrested by Tipperary/Clare Garda Division
A man in his late 30s has been taken into custody following a targeted operation conducted by Gardaí from the Clare/Tipperary Division.
The arrest is linked to ongoing investigations into an Organised Crime Group believed to be responsible for a series of residential and commercial burglaries, as well as the theft of high-end vehicles.
The operation, which took place in Limerick City yesterday afternoon, involved assistance from Regional Support Units and the Garda Air Support Unit.
The suspect is currently being held at a Garda station in the Southern Region under the provisions of Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.
