Traffic disruptions expected as bridge in Tipperary closes for the rest of the month
It will be closed for the rest of the month
Tipperary County Council has notified the public that, as of Wednesday November 6, the Abbey Road Bridge in Templemore will be closed to facilitate the replacement of a bridge culvert off Blackcastle Road.
The period of closure is expected to last until November 29.
Traffic disruptions can be expected but alternative routes are as follows:
Traffic accessing Abbey Lane (L-7160) from the Blackcastle Rd. will remain on the L-3066 Blackcastle Rd turning right at the T-Junction onto the N62, continuing on the R501 to L7160 Abbey Lane.
