Tributes paid as veteran principal and teacher retires from Tipperary national school
Best of luck!
CAPPAWHITE NOTES:
On Tuesday, June 27 Mrs Alice Flynn celebrated her last day as principal of Cappawhite National School with the pupils, staff and Board of Management of the school.
Mrs Flynn taught for 28 years in Cappawhite NS and was principal for 18.
Her passion for education was second to none and the addition of two special classes, a running track, AstroTurf pitch and the playground are just a few of the significant changes that have been made under her leadership.
We thank Mrs Flynn for her years of dedication and we wish her the very best in her retirement.
