Two Tipperary women back in court this week on charge of alleged assault before Christmas

Two women charged with assault causing harm are due to appear before Nenagh District Court this Friday, January 5.

The two were remanded in continuing custody by Judge Elizabeth MacGrath at a recent sitting of Nenagh District Court.

Roletta Harty of 2 Drom Sloinne, Portroe, was charged with the offence at Bulfin Crescent, Nenagh, on December 10, 2023.

Rebecca Harty, 59 Summerhill, Nenagh, was charged with the same offence on the date.

Rebecca Harty was also charged with criminal damage to a vehicle’s windscreen at Bulfin Crescent on December 10, 2022, and with possession of a knife at Hamilton Drive, Nenagh, on November 3, 2023.

Judge MacGrath remanded both defendants to Nenagh District Court on January 5, 2024.
