Eamon, a member of An Garda Síochána, was voted off the popular show earlier this week

Locals enjoying their morning coffee or açai bowl at Sos Beag in Cashel were treated to a meet and greet with Ireland's biggest TV villain of the year so far, Eamon from The Traitors Ireland season 1.

Tipperary garda Eamon, a controversial contestant on the programme, was voted off the popular show on Monday night after being outed as one of the three "Traitors".

As part of the programme, 24 people are put into a group, but hidden among them are Traitors who have to deceive, manipulate, and "murder" their way to a prize of up to €50,000.

The Faithfuls try to root out the Traitors before it is too late and the three Traitors on the hit show managed to kill off many contestants before the Faithfuls nabbed their first Traitor on Monday night in the form of Eamon.

Eamon, 36, is a garda from Tipperary and was chosen as a Traitor in the first episode and was a key participant in the show and he polarised many people on social media with fellow Traitor and retired Prison Officer Paudie having heated exchanges with Eamon throughout.

Now that his time on the show has come to an end, Eamon popped into the popular Cashel café and posed for a photo with the staffplaceholder image
