Woman (50s) charged in relation to thefts from shops in two county Tipperary towns

A woman, aged in her early 50s, has been arrested and charged in connection with stealing property from shops in Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir.

The woman was arrested by gardaí in Clonmel on Sunday, December 16 and subsequently charged with theft offences. She was bailed to appear before Dungarvan District Court on Monday, December 18.

A Clonmel Garda Station spokesperson said a total of three shops were affected and the crimes are alleged to have occurred in September and December.
