Young Tipperary filmmaker collaborates with Nenagh Credit Union

Young filmmaker Jake Mitchell has teamed up with Nenagh Credit Union for their new advertisements.
Jake and his friend Sean Paul have been taking drone footage of the areas around Nenagh.
Silvermines, Templederry, Garrykennedy, Dromineer, Toomevara, Puckane, Ballycommon, Dolla and Newtown have all been filmed. Jake said he loved working with Nenagh Credit Union.
“It was a great experience. Nenagh credit union was simply fantastic to work with,” said Jake. Jake is passionate about showing off what the Nenagh area has to offer.
His most recent project, Keeper Hill & Surrounding Areas was released last October.
Since then, the documentary has amassed 1,600 views on YouTube and has been praised locally. It was this project that brought Jake and the Nenagh Credit Union together.
Jake said for this project, he aimed to get shots of the locality that are not usually seen.
“While filming, I was aiming for the best shots.
“Luckily the weather was on my side as we had a heatwave at the time. I’m delighted at how they turned out. The greatest scenes by far were Garrykennedy & Dromineer.
“Combined with the great weather, they turned out fascinating. Especially since I managed to catch the sunset,” said Jake.
The new ads are due for release in the coming weeks. Jake also said he has a new project planned and will be updating his social media shortly.
